A chemical peel can be used on your face, neck or hands. It can treat age spots, crow’s feet, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, melasma, scars, aging skin, sun-damaged skin, sagging skin and wrinkles. The basic procedure involves applying chemicals to the skin which cause it to peel, leaving a new regenerated layer of skin that is smoother and less wrinkled. Your skin will peel following the procedure for anywhere from 3 – 10 days, depending on the type of peel applied. We use PCA peels exclusively. PCA is a physician certified brand of chemicals peels and accompanying products.

A cryo-facial is a non-invasive technique that uses gentle bursts of pressurized, hyper-cooled air (-240F) to rapidly lower the surface temperature of your skin on both the face and the neck. The cold temperature instantly causes your skin to tighten, which helps fill in wrinkles and fine lines. It only takes a matter of minutes to complete the process, and results are quickly visible. If you have inflammation in your face or a slight discoloration due to minor damage, this therapy can reduce both since it promotes better circulation. The facial is not painful, and many people say that it is relaxing. The result is a more even toned, youthful appearance without the use of injections and expensive facial creams. Fractional laser treatment is a relatively painless and non-invasive procedure that targets a fraction of your skin at a time by using a device that divides a laser beam into thousands of microscopic treatment zones. Fractional laser treatment is used to treat facial lines and wrinkles, sun damage and surgical or acne scarring. A full course of treatment will require 3 – 5 treatments approximately 3 – 8 weeks apart.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial is a procedure that uses flashes of light delivered to the skin using a “flashgun.” IPL can treat sun spots, rosacea, freckles, age spots and skin texture. It can also be used for hair removal and to treat acne. Depending upon what part of your body is being treated and how large the treatment area is, an IPL treatment should take 20 – 30 minutes. There is no downtime involved.

Microneedling involves inserting very fine, short needles into your skin in order to rejuvenate its appearance. EuroThreads are resorbable surgical sutures composed of biodegradable polymers. The treatment is minimally invasive and produces instant results. Polydioxanone (PDO) sutures are used for biomedical applications, particularly in cardiothoracic surgery because it is fully absorbed by hydrolysis within 4 to 6 months and doesn’t create any scar tissue. The foreign body stimulates collagen synthesis and the skin structure created will hold for 12 to 15 months.

This is a deep cleansing facial that goes well beyond our standard facial and is especially good if you have acne or oily skin. It will leave you feeling rejuvenated and looking more youthful. The ZO Facial takes anywhere from 60 minutes.
